Q.14 : What is the duration of the program?

A.14 : 20 to 70 hours depends on the course selected.

Q.15 : Will I get the certificate?

A.15 : Yes, TVD will provide the participation certificate on successful attendance of all the sessions of specific course.

Q.16 : How does the online – instructor led course work?

A.16 : Our online analytics courses are instructor led. Once you have enrolled for online Analytics Course and made the payment, we will mail your user name and password within one working day. You shall be able to access the user manual, course content and recorded videos on the Learning Management System (LMS) within one working day. You can login to the LMS by clicking on the student login button on the website and start viewing the content. We will mail you the detailed course schedule date/ time of all sessions of the selected course. Each course will be divided into various modules which you will go through in a serial manner in specific sessions in presence of instructor. All sessions will be recorded and uploaded on remote system within 1 working day after completing the session. Student can view those recording for revision, practice and in case of missing of any of the session.

The sessions are completely interactive with the faculty. Faculty will be using PPTs, Text/PDFs/ Videos etc. while teaching. These will be uploaded and accessible to students on remote system for their reference. You can access the content through the LMS whenever you want and from wherever you want just by having internet connection and a computer/laptop. You can engage in discussions on the course forum with fellow students and the trainers. You can also email your queries to the course trainers and they shall reply and discuss in the next session.

This is the online version of the instructor-led classroom course where you shall login to a virtual classroom, which will be led by the course trainer, who will share his screen for the participants to view. You can interact with the trainer and fellow students from the comfort of your own through the audio or chat functionality or by sharing your screen. These sessions will be held on specific days and times for the duration of the course and you will need to be online at that time. We will send you reminder mail before 24 hours of each session so that you will not miss the session. You can even use mobiles and tablets to login to the session.

If you miss a session, then you can view a recording of the same from our LMS. Each session will be recorded and put on the LMS for you to re-visit at your convenience at anytime and from anywhere. You have post 30 days access to the same even after completion of the specific course. You will also have access to the presentation materials and exercise files on the LMS.

Q.17 : Is there any benefits of online course?

A.17 : If you are not present in the same city as the classroom course, are not available to attend the sessions, just don’t want to travel, don’t want to spend more years on the same course that you can get in optimum time / cost with best quality at your doorstep or from any location, or not getting enough time because of your work schedule to name a few, online courses has proven success rates.

Online course and offline/classroom course are essentially just two means towards the same goal. Worldwide the growing trend is to learn online at your own convenience at a cheaper cost.

The virtual classroom course versions combine the best of both worlds by providing you instructor led training and interaction with fellow students at your own place.

Instructor led online courses offer slightly more structure to the learning process, on the spot doubt solving capability and the ability to learn and work in teams, though you will significantly lose out on convenience, time and cost.

Q.18 : Who will be course faculty?

A.18 : The faculties of online Analytics training program are successful professionals’ industry experts and statistics educators associated with MNC, IIMs and IITs who have practical knowledge on implementing analytic solutions to various business problems across industry domains - Retail, Finance, Clinical, Government, Marketing , HR , Education, Web based to name a few.

Q.19 : If I leave the batch / training in between, will I be able to re-join the next batch from where I left?

A.19 : We don’t encourage this but under unavoidable circumstances we shall consider your written request. Please note that accommodating new enrollments would be the priority for any new batch; post the new enrollments if there is space available only then will we be able to accommodate the previous batch students. However, you can get the access of video recordings and other material mentioned for your specified course depending on your registration date even if you leave the course inbetween.

Q.20 : Do I get refund if I cancel my enrolment?

A.20 : For the classroom/online-live courses, if you decide to cancel your enrollment you can do so anytime till 7 days prior to the start date and your entire fees shall be refunded to you in 15 working days’ time from the date of intimation to us. You can cancel the enrolment after starting of the class before 3rd Session of the first course chosen out of all selected courses and we shall refund you 70% of the course fees in 15 working days from date of intimation and retain 30% as penalty. We regret we shall not be able to make any refunds to you whether or not you have attended those sessions from 3rd Session onwards.

Q.21 : How many students in a batch?

A.21 : As this is a virtual instructor led class, any student will be taking the class from his/her convenient place. We are using an efficient platform (Adobe connect) which will accommodate login of maximum 100 students for a single session. However, we are restricting the no. students / batch so the range of attendants would be from 5 – 60.

Q.22 : What should I do if I miss the class?

A.22 : For the virtual classroom course if you miss a session, then you can view a recording of the same from our LMS and access the material that was used by faculty in that session. Each session will be recorded and put on the LMS for you to re-visit at your convenience at anytime and from anywhere. Once you go through the same and you can send your doubts to the instructor before attending the next class. Instructor will address your doubts in the next session either in the beginning or at the end to avoid distraction of the other.

Q.23 : What software tool do you use for the SAS language based analytics courses?

A.23 : We use the WPS software as the SAS language tool. WPS is an analytics tool which uses the SAS language itself and is identical to the SAS software sold by SAS Inc. in terms of functionality and usage. We use WPS to keep your course fees affordable without any loss in learning at all.

Q.24 : How do I access the software? Do I need to download in my system?

A.24 : No, you need not to download any software. The software is available on the cloud for you to access online 24×7 from wherever you are. You will need a remote desktop connection software(download link available on the LMS course page) to access it with the login details we provide to you. You can use the software to practice and complete the assignments.

Q.25 : Do I need to pay to access the software?

A.25 : No, you need not to pay anything extra to access the software. You will get access to the software on the virtual lab free with each SAS/ SPSS/R/COGNOS/QLIKVIEW/SQL based course. For classroom/virtual classroom courses you get access until 30 days after the course end.

Q.26 : What are the system requirements to access the software?

A.26 : Since its on the cloud it comes with no specific system requirement at your end. You just need to have a decent internet connection [512kbps-1mbps] and sufficient system RAM [2GB] to have a smooth session.
